Truck driver hurt
in rollover accident
The driver of a truck that landed on its roof in the Quittapahilla Creek after colliding with a car on Wednesday was admitted to the Hershey Medical Center.
Leroy Stine, no age available, of Lebanon was listed in fair condition Thursday, a hospital spokeswoman said.

No details on the accident, including the identity and condition of the driver of the other vehicle, are available because the North Annville Township police have not issued a police report. Attempts to reach the department have been unsuccessful.
Lebanon County's Hazardous Materials Response Team was on the scene for eight hours Wednesday absorbing fluids spilling from the truck until it was removed from the creek.

Yamaha Golf Cart Batteries
Yamaha Golf Cart Batteries
They are lead-acid batteries conventional batteries called "open". Beignent lead plates in sulfuric acid at 38% (one finds in the supermarket as the "battery acid"). The chemical reaction that produces electrical energy to the disadvantage of also produces gas (hydrogen and oxygen). So use these batteries in a ventilated area. These yamaha golf cart batteries are equipped with plugs to fill before the first use or top up when it lacks the acid. In practice, maintenance of this type of battery is normally reduced to top up with distilled water and unplug them when not in use. Their lifespan is about 4 to 5 years. These yamaha golf cart batteries can not withstand complete discharge, moreover, even when disconnected, if they are discharged slowly. That is why we must keep loaded and avoid storing them for a long period. These yamaha golf cart batteries operate on the same principle as standard batteries, but they are sealed. The gas can not escape, except in case of overpressure (when used with high temperature, for example), the battery always produces hydrogen and oxygen, but instead of escaping , the gases recombine to regenerate the battery in water. These yamaha golf cart batteries are called "maintenance free" because we can not add water. However, it did not infinite lifetime for the recombination of gas is not complete, they eventually lose their effectiveness. They last longer, however, the yamaha golf cart batteries opened, but they are more expensive. These yamaha golf cart batteries are lead-acid standards made totally sealed and in fact they are totally maintenance free (anyway, there is no way to fill !. . ). They are used when the battery may be inclined, such as on a motorcycle. The appellation is accurate battery gas recombination. The acid is frozen in silica gel (Gel) or glass fibers (AGM). Once completed, these yamaha golf cart batteries are permanently locked and can not be opened. These yamaha golf cart batteries are totally maintenance free, fully waterproof and can withstand deep discharges. Their very low internal electrical resistance allows them to provide high power levels. Their self-discharge is very low (1-3% per month). They are however very sensitive to temperature: their lifetime is halved when the temperature rises 8 ° C. Stationary battery is a lead / acid yamaha golf cart batteries whose plates are thicker, the battery is heavier and has less power. However, its lifetime is much longer and its self-discharge is very low. This is the typical battery of solar or battery back-up caravan or motorhome. A stationary battery can be charged continuously by a small current (current "floating"). It is commonly used in photovoltaic installations. Traction batteries are used in forklifts, stackers, pallet trucks, but golf carts or electric cars. The plates, generally comprised of a lead-antimony alloy, are thicker than standard batteries. They withstand deep discharges (up to 80%). . .
