Swing voters must start thinking for themselves
During the presidential debates, President Obama , instead of answering questions, will make speeches — as usual. The moderators will let him get away with it — as usual. The mainstream media commentators will declare Obama the debate winner — as usual. In October 2012, Obama will start making noises like a tea partyer. And thanks to our public education system, the mainstream media and Hollywood, our naive, undereducated voters will return Obama to office.Once in the office for his last term, Obama will do more to destroy our culture by damaging our economy, our freedoms, our Constitution and our ability to defend ourselves.
Our only hope is that swing voters might start thinking for themselves.
History Of John Mccain - News
However, history tells us that the Republicans will nominate a bland, moderate, flip-flopping, opportunistic John McCain-type like Mitt Romney or Jon Huntsman. During the presidential debates, President Obama, instead of answering questions,
John McCain. Romney is hitting Allentown and Philadelphia to highlight what he says is Obama's failed economic record. In Allentown, the Republican is visiting a shuttered factory that Obama once touted as a symbol of hope. “Pennsylvanians have run out

"This is the toughest year in Arizona's history as far as fires are concerned," McCain said. "The fact is that as far back as 2006 the Forest Service testified before Congress, and I quote, 'Large numbers of warming and cooking fires built and

In his 2008 victory over John McCain, Obama carried 66% of the vote among 18- to 29-year-olds, exit polls said. Obama's campaign targeted the youth vote, and in his proclamation today, the president said, "Ideas from young Americans are important to my

When it comes to the war that has dragged on for nearly a decade, John McCain has been one of the staunchest supporters of the man who defeated him. But his tone was markedly different Wednesday as the GOP's leading voice on military matters ripped
Joe Scarborough John McCain | Republican Isolationism | Video ...
Scarborough was most perturbed by the assumption that the United States can be fighting everywhere, especially when we don’t have the money and when we are stretched so thin that it would prevent us from doing anything with the only country that poses a real threat to us, Iran. This debate is odd, not only to see McCain and Graham line up alongside President Obama in defense of overseas wars, but also because it could mean the eventual Republican The Republican party has a long history of isolationism, to be sure, and there are indications it may be returning to such a position. Isolationism is at the very heart of exceptionalism. However, I think the Republicans may be so eager to cast off and out the neo-cons that they are simply throwing the baby out with the bathwater. Very Republican thing to do. Once a child is born, they tend to lose interest in it.
I find it amazing that with the turn of an election cycle, the pro-war GOP is now the anti-war GOP and the anti-war Dems are now the pro-war Dems. So our involvement in any conflict is now also part of the political poop fest we have. I guess it jno longer stops at the shoreline.
The GOP has long been somewhat isolationist and nationalist. Not new. What is new is the opposition to military force.
While I believe that we need to take a breather for a couple years from being the world’s Empire (just try it out and see if it can work — we can always jump back in there), and therefore I am closer to Joe on this one issue, I definitely do not think that McCain is ridiculous to espouse his view. Joe’s comments are over the top, when a simple I-don’t-agree would be more dignified and valued. This is a trait of Joe’s that I detest…remember when he unloaded on Palin? That was really over the top as well. And while I have been a long-time fan of this morning show, I quit watching pretty much after Joe adopted this reactionary technique.
