Leading eLearning Authoring Tool Elicitus Brings in Significant Improvements ...

The new Elicitus 8.1 release is a big step for the product, and adds many significant features. The release includes major user interface revamp that goes with the latest Windows 2007 look, and also improves software performance. Importantly, the product now supports seamless integration with Raptivity ( http://www.raptivity.com ), the award-winning rapid interactivity builder from Harbinger. The Raptivity interactions imported into Elicitus can now be tracked from within the software using SCORM1.2 or SCORM 2004 standards. “The combined Elicitus and Raptivity offering provides great value to course creators, and significantly eases creation of highly interactive courses”, said Vikas Joshi, Chairman and Managing Director, Harbinger Group. “Now the ability to track Raptivity interactions makes Elicitus an indispensable tool for course creators. Of course, the icing on the cake is the beautiful new interface that it sports.” Another significant addition is that Slide Converter and Scenario Maker, two utilities for importing existing Microsoft PowerPoint® presentations into Elicitus and adding slide transitions in Elicitus respectively, are now part of the product itself instead of being separate downloadable utilities.
