Blood Drive NEWPORT - The Red Cross will host a blood drive from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the Insurance and Investment Room in the ASU-Newport Student/ Community Center. FRIDAY Tournament Deadline CHEROKEE VILLAGE - The deadline for team slot registration for the Tommy Bolt Memorial golf tournament is Friday. The entry fee is $250 per team. The tournament will be held at 8 a.m. Saturday, June 25, at Cherokee Village’s championship South Course. FRIDAY AND SATURDAY Kiwanis Club Rib Cook, BATESVILLE - The Kiwanis Club of Batesville Dr. Jim "Doc" Cook Rib Stalker will be two to six hours on Friday and 10:00 to 2:00 p.m. on Saturday. Baby-back ribs will be $15 per rack and can be picked up at First United Methodist Church on Main Street at the upper entrance of the Education Building. Tickets are $15 and can be purchased at the Batesville Area Chamber of Commerce.

Dogs Violet Allen at quarterback. Not that Mr. Allen. Austin replaces the older brother Brandon in the center and can not miss a beat. But the dogs play in the toughest league in the state that makes it a challenge to make an appearance back in the game title.
